A female coworker I'm not into decided to make advances on me. She keeps making me compliments, always finds a way to hang around me somewhow, keeps touching my shoulder or arms, tries to gift me sweets and shit, while I'm increasingly trying avoid her and appear as neutral and uninterested as possible. It's exhausting and really not fun. Ever happened in your country?

Women typically handle rejection a lot worse than men so I wouldn't explicitly tell her to her face you're not interested. Last time I did that my coworker went around telling everyone I was gay (because obviously if I wasn't into her I "must be") which got kind of awkward.
