Why do micro-countries like Moldova (80% ethnic Romanian), Kuwait (90% ethnic), Djibouti (75% Somalian) Aland (99% Swedish) etc exist? Most people in these counties identify with their larger ethic kin - also they are smaller than fucking New Jersey

Please explain this internationally to me

But why, there are no geopolitical reasons of them exists except as buffer states for future wars that will eventually happen. It would be easier to just let them join their brothers. Wouldn’t globohomo benefit from larger countries anyways since you can make more
