I don't know much about old English culture, but in Maine, those photos are fairly accurate! Loads of fried seafood (there's a lot of it, good luck finding much international cuisine), fish and chips are basically sold everywhere on the coast, at least. Definitely more trees up here, hunting and fishing are popular hobbies. The architecture can also be fairly old, from the 1700s some of them, but at least where I live, a lot of the buildings were wood (loads of trees to harvest from), and a lot of them have burned down over the years for one reason or another.
