Inferring their nature and reacting to them using that would help you in the long run since you get buffed for each subsequent negotiation you do until the conversation prompts you to ask them to join you.Combat-wise, it's very touch and go. The tutorials would drill you on everything and for every other question you have, there's a community out there to help you.Btw the game makes it clear to you that you can fire nuclear missiles at the enemy but by doing so, the enemy would act in proportion.
