Why they can't take responsibilities? Their current social and economic issues directly stems from Merkel's policies regarding energy and immigration yet she blames eastern europeans rather than admitting her mistakes

The german spirit is more akin to the russian spirit, it's not european

Genuinely one of the worst leaders in european history yet the media kept sucking her off despite failing at literally everything she tried to because she was the first woman to lead germany.

Yeah but Merkel's right, Poland goaded the Germans into starting WW2 and then did the same with Russia. Their conservatives are very bloodthirsty.

It's a basic tennet of the boomer German mind:
>I am never wrong
>I am not like Hitler
>I am a good neighbour
You can turn non-brown Germans suicidal/vindictive/violent with these three. Merkel literally wrote a book recently, this books is over 1000 pages and it discusses her never making a mistake ever in her life. XD

Angela Merkel is a horrible leader, the 2015 migration crisis is her fault, but in this instance she's right that Poland and the Baltic countries blocked direct EU negotiations with Russia over the implementation of the Minsk agreement, they were scared that the EU wouldn't take their security interests into account when negotiating with Russia so they did everything they could to block negotiations and keep all the negotiating power in Ukraine's hands, which ultimately lead to nowhere, the Minsk agreements were abandoned by both parties, and the 2022 Russia-Ukraine war started.
>>
This is the Prussians fault

>>215639138
Even russians said that in 2021 they were going to invade anyways. Merkel is simply deluded and coping to save her legacy
>>
>>215639112
It truly is like that
Many years ago I worked with a german provider/supplier for a given solar installation for building roofs. A lot of their units would come busted/broken upon arriving and when we called they would always blame us for not properly installing and not handling correctly the product or whatever when it would already be broken before even opening the boxes but they pretty much refused to acknowledge this as far as I understand. Anyways we eventually switched to chinese stuff.

>>
>>215639271
>Even russians said that in 2021 they were going to invade anyways
Because it was obvious to both sides that the Minsk agreement failed by that point, Merkel herself said that she and Hollande just used the agreements to buy Ukraine more time to arm itself.
>>
>>215639394
Merkel is saying that she and Macron could've salvaged the situation right before the invasion though

It's funny that whenever you criticse the idiotic governments of the Baltics and Ukraine, all their suporters can respond to your criticism with is "Russian propaganda! Russian propaganda!", completely ignoring the issues which prompted that criticism in the first place.

Nordstream doesn't pass through Finnish or Estonian territorial waters, and as it rests above the sea bed of the Baltic sea the rules of EEZs doesn't apply to it.

>>
>>215641588
in this case, yes. The Daily Mail is a low-quality tabloid. They're publishing crap like this to get views/sales.

This is what Merkel actually said:

>‘In June 2021, I felt that Putin was no longer taking the Minsk agreements seriously,’ Merkel said. As a result, she and French President Emmanuel Macron sought a new format to enable the European Union to hold direct talks with Putin. ‘This was not supported by some, primarily the Baltic states, but Poland was also against it because they were afraid that we would not have a common policy towards Russia.’

>The format did not come to fruition, she left office, and Putin's aggression began, Merkel continued. ‘We will no longer be able to clarify today what would have happened if.’
>>
>>215642006
It is when many of the "Russian talking points" are questions, and just because the Russians are also saying the same thing won't make me drop those questions,

>Would Putin have invaded Ukraine if it hadn’t been for Covid?” Merkel asked during an interview with a Hungarian journalist. “No one can say for sure,” she added, echoing an argument she also makes in her book. “If you can’t meet face-to-face, if you can’t settle differences of opinion eye-to-eye, then you can’t find new compromises.”

>In June 2021, I felt that Putin was no longer taking the Minsk agreement seriously,” Merkel said, referring to the peace agreement relating to control of Ukraine’s eastern Donbas region following the 2014-2015 conflict. “And that’s why I wanted a new format where we, as the European Union, could talk directly with Putin.”

>At a European Council meeting that month, Merkel and Macron proposed direct negotiations with other leaders in response to the buildup of Russian troops near Ukraine’s border. But a coalition of Eastern European countries, including Poland, opposed the idea.

>“This was not supported by some. It was mainly the Baltic states, but Poland was also against it,” she said.

>Merkel explained that these countries had been “afraid” that “we would not have a common policy toward Russia … In any case, it didn’t happen. Then I left office, and then Putin’s aggression began.”
>>
>>215642134
>>215641219
>But even in Russia, some mocked Merkel’s assertion that more talks, by 2021, could have changed Putin’s plans.

>“Anyone reasonably informed has long known that the disagreements between Russia and the West at that moment were already too deep,” Alexei Chesnakov, a former adviser to the Kremlin, wrote in an online post.
Luckily even ruzzians say she's a deluded retard
>>
>>215642134
where does she say Poland and the Baltic states are responsible? She said they didn't want this diplomatic effort, she didn't say they are responsible for the invasion. That's a non-sequitur. As the other German anon said, you just want to confirm your fantasy that Germany/Merkel were somehow ever on Putin's side.
>>
>>215642186
>If you can’t meet face-to-face, if you can’t settle differences of opinion eye-to-eye, then you can’t find new compromises
Then she says the Baltic and Poland opposed her idea. Are all germs such sniveling rats?

>>

>>
>>215642285
Do you disagree her policies (immigration, increased dependency on Russian energy) directly resulted in a weaker Europe and empowered Russia and made possible their invasion? I'm not saying she's paid, I said she's coping because her legacy is crumbling more and more
>>
>>215642231
I can understand why Ukraine would want to blow up Nordstream
>>
>>215642347
she made a lot of mistakes no doubt, but to claim she's responsible for the Russian invasion is delusional. Also, I find it funny when non-German Europeans blame Germany for lack of support for the EU as if anyone else did more for the EU than us. Also everyone BUT us uses the EU/Germany as scapegoat for whatever goes wrong in their country, so just fuck off with this shit.
