Doesn't matter, it will need a gorillion DLCs to be playable
>>
buying the new CK3 DLC and waiting three months for EU5 to actually be finished

Playing Victoria 3 right now, pumped a good 50 hours into it in less than a week. I'm having so much fun with it I don't think I'll play any other map painter for a good couple of months. Good thing that at the same time EU5 releases Victoria3 has been updated with the lastest balance and unjank, I don't think Paradox are struggling.
I haven't even played EU4 yet, I have only played CK2 and Imperator:Rome for the time being.
Right now by far I'd say Victoria 3 is the most pleasurable. It's just so so fun, it's pure fun, just fun. Click bubbles, make numbers go up, paint the map, it's excellent.

Well, the original bugs will be fixed, but I didn't say anything about the ones introduced with the following patches...

Chronicles coming out tomorrow tho

it'll be dogshit from the beginning but hopefully it'll get better after a couple of months, and then I'll play it

I tried to play Paraslop Victoria 3 again but after playing Ottomans I just realized that half of the early game is just chasing resources like Iron and Paper constantly. You’re constantly on a hamster wheel for resources and it’s not even fun. I remember playing hundreds of hours on Victoria 2 but it’s now too old to play with Windows 10/11

Play Victoria 2 if you're a serious grand strategy gamer

I know but I'm not a serious GSG player. I was serious about CK2 like everyone else but I've read Vic2 is broken, quite literally doesn't work properly. I don't want to autistically manage numbers that turn out to fall apart because of a poorly implemented system. No disrespect to GSG autists.
What happened is I grabbed the key for Vic3 just when they announced the last major update and in all honesty before God I have no fucking idea why I bought this fucking game to begin with, but man what a game. I want to feel the dopamine flowing when I play a game and Victoria 3 does this successfully, even if it's simpler, a bit stupider, but at least I'm having innocent fun. The game is good, it truly is.
Thing is I've lurked on /vst/ and all I read are absolute sweatlords shitting on Victoria 3 for the reasons that make it fun. while praising Victoria 2 for its broken mechanics, sounds dishonest or self-indulgent or something. I don't like this side of the GSG community.

Victoria 3 has many flaws but it isn't completely broken like Victoria 2, so don't feel too bad about this.
