Tell me what country to visit next. I am a mono-English white guy from California. I like to see weird buildings you can't find in America, weird engineering projects, museums of cool stuff, and so on. I don't care about nature tourism.
>Countries by Fun as a Tourist (discounting America): Japan > Britain > Germany > Hungary > France > Canada > Slovakia > Panama > Mexico > Poland > Czechia
Went to Israel when I was 13, so I don't really remember it very well.

Switzerland, its cool place, but pricey and really strict about their customs. Another option is visiting the Nordics, they are pretty good at english.
Just plan in advance what you want to see, and what's the best season. (I visited Switzerland in June, thinking I could flee from my country's hot weather, and ended up dealing the same temperatures in an humid place.) Also be open minded, and get rid of any excepcionalism .
