I grew up with the catholic version of christmas, only celebrated it with my catholic relatives and the only secular stuff was having some guy dressed as santa claus on shopping malls but I always thought that was cringe and weird. Growing up I almost never had patience to watch movies or TV series, so I didn't absorb the american coca-cola version of christmas through media, this is probably why I don't associate it with the things you say
