I have no idea how Ireland tops the list. Unless it's already starting from such a low quality of life.

Ireland rapes you in every single metric. Bongs were never smart, just lucky geography that prevented France from annexing you 1000 years ago.

I am Irish and had to move to the UK because of how dire the situation is in Ireland. The metrics are completely misleading. Healthcare, housing, jobs, infrastructure is all awful in most of Ireland. England is paradise by comparison.

I am Polish and I'm going to move to Ireland because of how great the situation is in Ireland

If you have skills (IT or pharmeceuticals) and move to Megatropolis Dublin, you could do well. I just feel you get way more bang for your buck in England. Rent and grocery prices are way lower, for example. Although Poles in both countries are moving back to Poland as far as I'm aware.

No, there are only jobs in Dublin. Dublin is like London on steroids in terms of how centralised development in the country is, and somehow even basic 2 bedroom flats there cost a million euros now. A semi detached, hell even a terrace house, can be easily 3 million or more. Trying to build a life in Cork or Limerick or Dundalk is basically impossible. Tyranny of the geriatrics.

UK was already shit prior to brexit and just like your government and most western governments they will throw their citizens under the bus, that's why politicians and their families need to be dealt with.

But Irish GDP per capita!!! There's no way superficial economic metrics don't describe the actual standard of life for the average Irish person. All the Irish moving to the UK and Australia must just be stupid.
