Why do they hate each other so much? They're practically the same, even had a commonwealth once together.
Shouldn't they treat each other nicely and like brothers? Every country has a brother nation but these guys don't and seethe about it all the time.
>>
>>215986013
we don't hate them, for most of my life I didn't even knew that they seethe at us, maybe it's because of the russian admixture
>>
Slavs have a deep-seated crabs in a bucket mentality. They don't even trust their own neighbors. Let alone their neigboring countries.
>>
>>215986013
We don't
What you see on /int/ is just some friendly banter (or schizos being schizos), in real life we and Lithuanians are bros. Poland even protects Lithuania's sky because they don't have their own air force

I never see lithuanian threads seething about poland
I see polish threads seething about lithuania constantly
>>215986013
lithuania is a really inconvenient thing poland would like to forget. poland only became historically relevant when lithuanian ruler Jogaila married prime polish cunny Jadwiga and created the Jagiellonian dynasty.
>>
>>215986159
average pole never thinks about lithuania

If Lithuania was so relevant, why did the Jagellions immediately relocate the court to Poland and took a massive chunk of Ukraine out of Lithuania?

You know that Poland had a kind of nobles democracy (demokracja szlachecka) then? "The court" could do nothing without the majority of the nobles who were about 10% of the population at that time.
>the king responded by annexing Podlachie, Volhynian, Bracław, and the Kiev Voivodeships to the Crown (on 6 June), with wide approval from the local gentry.[9][10] Those historic lands of Rus' are over half of modern Ukraine and were then a substantial portion of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania's territory. The Rus' nobles there were eager to capitalise on the economic and political opportunities offered by the Polish sphere, and by and large, they wanted their lands to become a part of the Polish Crown

Meme percentage in reality it was around 5-6%, comparable to Western European levels.

look at this thread
poles say we don't care about lithuania, while lithuanians keep malding and insisting we're obsessed with them
who are the obsessed ones then?
