EU is a company of 30 countries, China is 1 country.

The West cheats on higher currency exchange. Useless ((((banking))) countries like England* have high valued currencies despite producing nothing but hot air.

*Let's be real. Only England and specifically London matters in the UK.
>>
>>216009273
The UK isn't in the EU though (Brexit means Brexit).

however the EU has a significantly lower population than china does

EU isn't a country.

How does the average Briton feel about Brexit now?
>>
>>216010011
The average Briton has negative self-esteem and wanders about from day to day in a numb haze, soul like a deflated balloon, just waiting for it all to be over.

Sunk cost fallacy + COVID did it + all European economies are shit + it wasn't real Brexit (Tories betrayed us and mishandled it on purpose and/or accidentally)

Tbh I thought it was like this for a while. Surprised that it’s only happening now.
>>
>>216010183
>all European economies are shit
>it wasn't real Brexit (Tories betrayed us and mishandled it on purpose and/or accidentally)
do you actually believe this tho
Also do you think maybe a big reason Reform is gaining popularity in the UK is that people still believe the narrative that Brexit was merely fucked by the Tories but that a true Brexit believer like Farage can still fix it?
>>
>>216010144
same way they snuck into europe
>>
>>216010239
>do you actually believe this tho
All of those things are true, but Brexit was still a mistake.

Reform is gaining popularity in the UK because the majority of the population have been complaining about mass immigration for two decades and neither Labour nor the Conservatives have done anything about it (the numbers have only continued to increase). That's basically the entire reason. It doesn't take into account the fact that Reform will probably do nothing about immigration as well, but they have the advantage of never having been in government before, so they can keep riding that until they get into power, and then maybe everybody will switch over to Reform Plus or whatever.
Brexit is sort of irrelevant. Most people want the UK to go back into the EU, but it's a secondary concern in comparison to immigration and everybody getting poorer.

Because the american heartland is oppressed by the coastal elites. Trump's popularity came from a vulgar sort of class conscious, the heartlanders understood how service pipo and the managerial class were no longer their equals, and Koch/Cargill understood how nu-tech and suprastatial finance had usurped them.
>>
>>216011476
In other words, civil war 2. But this time, the north(east)erners (+west coasters) are the malicious rentiers in need of overthrowing
>>
>>216009273
China undervalues the yuan for their own benefit. Their gdp might go up for a while if they stopped doing that but it would hurt the competitiveness of their exports.
>>
>>216010158
What about the EU was good for Britain?
>>
>>216008236
>GDP
They include shit like rent in GDP it's a meaningless statistic that doesn't tell you anything about the actual structure and health of the economy. All it does is measure transactions.
>>
>>216011476
By that logic you could say that China and the Global South is oppressed by the West, hence their low GDP numbers

Also, if you think MAGA country is being oppressed by libruls, then tell red state governors to stop requesting so much federal aid.

>Trump's popularity came from a vulgar sort of class conscious
The one where a billionaire tells poor people that the rich should get lower taxes lol?

>Koch/Cargill understood how nu-tech and suprastatial finance had usurped them
Several of Trump’s cabinet picks had affiliations with the Kochs
>>
>>216010510
Nah, the increased poverty is because the pound tanked in value after that tory fuckwit released a high-deficit low-tax budget and Britain is extremely import dependent. That island is just macroeconomically fucked now no matter what they do
>>
>>216011476
His party is going to try and kill of health insurance for their own voters though.

Trump is a wall street native, but was bought by the industrial capitalists, hence why he ran on populism, re-industrialization, and anti-globohomo (at least in 2016). He had a voter base because people recognized that the uni-party was completely subordinate to the Financial Capitalists, the American Empire (federal reserve as the highest branch of government), whose goal is to collect rent, whereas the goal of the Industrial Capitalists was to produce (and profit of course). People recognize that when "America was great" they were still under Industrial Capitalist rule, which was trending towards socialism (seen in our better infrastructure, hours, wages, etc.) The fact that Industrial Capitalist rule, besides being more honorable, was also more in line with the needs of people. And so, poorer, less educated states, with people that couldn't land a position as a professional excel manipulator at Bergstein and Co., and a higher degree of honor, naturally gravitated towards the (apparent) figurehead of Industrial Capitalism.
>but trump is a philosemetic kike who backstabbed the country
True, this doesn't change why MAGA was originally such a powerful proletariat movement, and why it continues to have momentum

Trump was just the culmination of the Tea Party Movement, which like Trump masqueraded as being populist and anti-establishment but was secretly funded by the Kochs. If he was as populist as you say, then he should’ve won the poor vote but lost the rich vote, which didn’t happen. And no, it doesn’t count if you only look at how one race voted. Not to mention that he staffed his first “America First” cabinet with Goldman Sachs bankers, a guy who helped the fucking Rothschilds handle bankruptcy, and numerous war hawks.

>People recognize that when "America was great" they were still under Industrial Capitalist rule
China does this right now, and people like you constantly shit on them for horrendous working conditions
>>
>>216012873

>>
>>216013515
>secretly funded
Did you read my post? The Koch's are at the forefront of this. The pivot to towards financial empire hurt them along with most other people. They are the Industrial Capitalists which people explicitly want to return to power.
>he should’ve won the poor vote but lost the rich vote
I don't think this is the case, but I'm too lazy to jewgle it. Anecdotally, I see less MAGA flags in the richer, more urban neighborhoods than I do closer to the boonies
>And no, it doesn’t count if you only look at how one race voted
Trump's campaign stoked the race question. In a predominately white country. The non-whites would obviously oppose this, irregardless of what the rest of MAGA stood for.
>Not to mention that he staffed his first “America First” cabinet with Goldman Sachs bankers
I made it clear in my last post that trump has been nothing but a figurehead, what he does in office is largely divorced from what I think is the kernel of MAGAtry. And I'm sure the Koch's still got worthwhile compensation
I think you're ignoring the "Vulgar"-ness of the movement. Obviously they won't be parading through the streets preaching the immortal science of Marxism-Leninism, but they're starting to touch on it. Replace Jews with capitalists and /pol/ will read like lefty/pol/
>China does this right now, and people like you constantly shit on them for horrendous working conditions
I used the words proletariat and socialism positively in my last post. That should've made you rethink your statement.

>I don't trust stats, but my personal stories 100% represent America at large.
Pic rel is an exit poll from the 2016 election. Cope and seethe.

>Trump's campaign stoked the race question.
Republicans (and Democrats to an extent) have been race-baiting since the 60s. Lee Atwater and Jesse Helms perfected the craft before Trump ever even ran.

>Obviously they won't be parading through the streets preaching the immortal science of Marxism-Leninism, but they're starting to touch on it.
I unironically heard less wokeshit during the Obama years. Trump’s election made lefties go into overdrive regarding the culture war.

>I used the words proletariat and socialism positively in my last post.
Well if you want to return to a re-industrialized America, you’re going to have to give up those luxuries in order to be competitive against Asia. This isn’t the 50s anymore where American manufacturing dominated because every other nation was bombed from World War 2.

>Trump’s election made lefties go into overdrive regarding the culture war.
>lefties
The overwhelming majority of these would be considered liberals in most countries, with an added soy tranny flair, or more accurately, soy trannies with a political flair. Hardly the kinds of people that revolted in Russia or China
>last line
The American Empire was bad because, among other things, it was inherently unsustainable, and fragile. It placed its iv drip in the hands of dominated nations on the other side of the planet. Returning to industry is returning to normalcy. And there's no need for us to have post-WW2 domination. Surely in your childhood you read or watched a story where the guy that wants to take over the world is the bad guy
>>
>>216014334
Forgot to add: It doesn't matter if the majority of americans support/ed MAGA, the point is that they're a large grassroots movement that's less defensive of the status quo than the common liberal
>>
