They are so annoying. They get paid in US dollar so they don't know how hard is it for normal foreigners in Japan. For western foreigners, the only two jobs are Eikaiwa and ALT. Eikaiwa are these companies where people pay to practice speaking with native English speakers. It's a pretty terrible job. You don't get weekends and the work hours are like 2pm to 10pm. It ranges from "teaching" 3 year old toddlers to talking with tired slarymen after they finished work. You only get a 2 min break between classes because you're preparing for the next class in your 10 min break. ALTs are Assistant Language Teachers. It can range from being an entertainer for elementary school children, to just standing there having students repeat words when the japanese teacher asks you to in junior high school, or go actually teaching some classes in high school. The pay is shit but you have a lot of free time.
The worst are the third world non-Western foreigners. Brazilians and Latinos have it the best because if they are partially of japanese descent there are special programs where they work for Toyota and such for pretty good pay. Muslims like Turks and Kurds do dangerous jobs with high pay like demolishing buildings. Vietnamese and other browns basically work as "trainees" which are basically slave contracts. They get abused by companies and barely make enough money to buy a ticket home and many resort to crime. I have heard real horror stories. There are also "students" who go to fake classes and whose main purpose is to work "part time" in Japan. Often Chinese and Indian subcontinent peoples and they work at convenience stores or other stores. It's basically impossible to work at a proper japanese company if you're a foreigner. I tried it and it's horrible. They have autistic rules about every aspect of the interview. They care about how you sit or other autistic little details. AND there are often 6 interviews only to not get hired lol. And even if you DO get hired, japanese companies treat workers like shit. The manners they have in public all evaporate. They yell at you and as nasty as fuck. And foreigners don't put up with this BS so they quit right away
>>216008431>they don't know how hard is it for normal foreigners in Japan.Wrong! Your fellow Japanese told us yesterday that life in Japan is cheap and easy for natives.
>>216008431You're supposed to work from abroad, then Japan becomes heaven
>>216008431I don't weekends as a native I get paid like shit as a native (you) arent special because you live in japan

>>216009655He's applying to a Japanese company, so I'm assuming he wants to work in sales or business. Japan undervalues technical work, even if OP was an electrical engineer he would be paid a third of what he would be making in the US and about the same as a white collar project manager who does nothing but call meetings all day. I think Japan does this to keep skilled workers on visas so they don't unionize, but had the shitty side effect of making them more reliant on imported work for essential jobs.
>>216008431you're posting some of the more innocuous faggots in the businessthere are plenty of other youtubers and streamers who are retarded and are an actual menace, why focus on the dawg and the coping brit?

>>216009808more like 5 years, actually, he started his youtube channel as soon as he came to Japan.
I liked how during the Johnny Somali hubbub all these Japanese youtubers talked about how awful foreign content creators are making Japan. Except them of course, they're the good ones.
>>216009926Yeah I think my perspective of time is fucked up. I know he was with the JET program and then supposedly got a job outside of the program working at a private highschool. I cant seem to find when he quit that job but it was probably more like 5 years.
>>216010069I think it was around 2018 when he became a full time youtuber
