At the beginning of he year we got a fresh hire into our team. Guy from Romania with 12 years of industry experience. When his probation period was up I had him fired after my evaluation because he insisted on using slopGPT to do the work for him. It brainrotted him so much despite having double the experience of myself he had to look up basic shit (he asked an LLM to do it for him).On multiple occasions I told him to stop and he continued to ignore me.Hate AI and every single person who uses it is a jeet to me regardless of nationality, ethnicity or country of birth.
>>216010316It IS a bubble and 90% of the AI startups will die. BUT, remember the Dot Com bubble? Everyone was pooh poohing the internet back then. Nothing will come out of it. The World Wide Wait. Useless for anything other than forums, blogs and myspace. Look at how the internet has taken over everything now, for good or bad. Same with AI. Out of the bubble, a few companies will emerge as the winner and we will truly enter the Age of Thinking Machines.
