In Arabic the word for oranges is bortuqal, which comes from the name of the country Portugal, of course oranges aren't native to Portugal they're native to south east Asia and us nafris brought them to Portugal and Spain but I find it very cute in our lingo they have the name of Portugal.What do my portugoose friends think of this neat little factoid?
