I don't know man Spanish olive oil and citruses are notoriously disgusting if not straight up scams, sometimes even dangerous. Your participation to the European market is notoriously detrimental, we have more respect for Poland for instance. You guys only bring us tasteless tomatoes, contaminated olive oil, Lafufus, and hashish... I'm not saying that to be mean and disrespectful, it's just how we see it in France.
Besides by the time Europe is set to accomodate renewable energies the climate will have changed enough to plant lemon trees in Belgium. And even then people buy less and less produce out of season, farmers are getting tired of the industrial practices and consumers are losing bad habits.
Instead of putting the blame on the EU and Nafrica you should adopt the French regulations, simple as.
