Americans rightfully say they pay more for housing, the thing is that Americans get massive amount of space, in europe, a 25 square meters apartment is considered a luxury for a young single professional

UPS driver jobs are notoriously difficult to get. You will have to work part time for shitty pay for 5-10 years waiting in line in the hopes that a position might open up, no guarantee.

Buc-ee's only exists in a few states with high cost of living. Something like 90% of their stores are in Texas. You see that pic posted a lot because their wages are unusually high. But despite posting all their wages on those signs, Buc-ee's doesn't hire eternally for anything above their lowest paid positions. If you want any of those higher paying jobs, you have to start as a cashier making $18/hr in an area where a one bedroom apartment is $1200 a month.

Their promotion is seniority based so you can expect minimum 10 years to work your way up to assistant manager - and that's assuming you ever move up. A typical Buc-ee's has around 250 employees, most of them in those entry level positions. Maybe you can spend a decade working there and be the lucky 1 out of 200 who makes it to management but the odds aren't in your favor. If you don't make it, congratulations, you spent 10 years standing behind a cash register.
