>>216032183aws is cloud service, if everyone had their own it, 5X more people would be employed right now
>>216032183AWS is a cloud service provider. It's the opposite, most AI services run on Amazon's AWS or Microsoft's Azure.
>>216032116Jokes apart, it's an internal issue
>>216032183you bet your ass the AWS response team is querying chatgpt right now asking how to fix it
our servers were down today so I did literally nothing today at the office. Not sure if it was connected to the AWS problems, perhaps it was.

>>216031470is that why Audible won't let me buy something on my phone or is that just the new trend of websites only working properly with Chrome?
>>216031470We didn't have an issue because we host our stuff on Hetzner. AWS is known to be overpriced, shitty, and having overly complex pricing (to hide costs). Many people are saying that it's a parasite company that adds netzero value to the world. Just run your own servers like everyone did a couple of decades ago. It's still the best way of doing it.
>>216032491aws is the largest cloud service provider in the world, if not directly then somewhere along the chain
