>>216042934yes our self defense laws are very shit but also someone breaking into your home while you're threre is almost unheard of here.there was a massive case here in 2020 where a guy stumbled across car thieves trying to steal his car in the middle of the night in a remove place and shot one of them,got arrested for it. it generated a massive uproar and got political where the right sided with him and the left against him, it ended up with a plea deal of a few months community work and 10000 shekel fine but he raised over a million shekels in crowdfunding.this is one of the main reasons me and many others voted for ben gvir who promised to become the internal security/police minister and fix policing in israel (and largely kept his promise)
