Alternate timeline there's a big island in the north atlantic.

What sort of /int/ related things like culture and language do they have?
>>
British/French colonial culture mixed with whatever freakish native culture that would develop there. Like any other remote shithole.

There's no color and they talk like noir films

>Maybe vikings bump into in 1000s
>No major human settlement until the 1500s.
>It's briefly explored by Portuguese sailors.
>British people colonize it en masse.
>Big wars between French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch and British traders over its control.
>Either Britian wins it all or the island is divided (latter most likely)
>Small pockets of Basque, Native Americans and Africans exist on it but they're not super big
Culture is predominantly Anglo with scatterings of other western Europeans. They're might be an earlier marginalized culture of Celto-Vikings similar to Icelanders that are regarded as a sort of indigenous people.
>>
imagine how much war the Europeans would go to for that island
