>"our language needs a word for this new concept/product, what should we do?">"let's just take the english word and pronounce it retardedly"you don't really.. do you..?
>>216052902That is how English came about (borrowed from French)
We do. Everyone already mixes in english words in their sentences here. It's only a matter of time before we drop swedish completely in a century or two.Anglos won.
>9 times out of 10 the english word in question is actually frenchdo Angoloids really...?
>>216052951At least you aren't as bad as the Norwegians, I've never seen a more Americanized people.
>>216052902We do be like that
>>216052902Fake language
>>216053004More than us? Interesting.
>languageFrench>conceptLatin>productLatin>justFrench>pronounceFrench>retardedFrench...
>>216052902Worse, linguists here try and create new words from various slavic origins, but those get overwritten by media using English loanwords, making the new original ones redundant. Extremely annoying
>>216052902>tf>tp60% of your language is mispronounced French/Latin.
>>216053130Think zoom-zooms exaggerate it. Paid attention to some kids speaking, and all I heard was "oh my fucking god" or something retarded like that. Hopefully she will be embarrassed by it later too.
>>216052902Rooshagger enlighten me, why do you use names such as eSafety, Safe Work Australia etc. for your government agencies and bodies
>>216052902Spoiler: the word is of french/latin origin and is already in Spanish.I guess "community manager" sounds more interesting than MANEJADOR DE COMUNIDAD
>>216053236It's not just younger people. Millenials and gen-x do it too. It's more subtle, where they just throw in an english word in the middle of a sentence to describe something. Or like you said, "Oh my god" and the like. I've caught myself doing the same thing multiple times and I cringe at it afterwards. I try to speak as much swedish as possible without mixing in english. My brain has become so raped by english that I sometimes forget the swedish word for something but remember the english word for it.
