>>216203730I'd try to expand my native language's vocabulary first. I can only remember English words if I also know them in Portuguese. For example, I used to see the word "oxymoron" all the time here, but I never understood the meaning of it because I've never heard anything similar in my language so even with context I wouldn't learn it like I do with other new words. I literally saw the translation and the meaning of it right now for the first time because I googled it and yes, I've never heard someone say "oxímoro" in my entire life.
