Did you know that in American schools, we would fold papers "hotdog style" and "hamburger style"? We were never told to do it horizontally or vertically Is this common in other places?
>>216206101You know I always did wonder why we were asked to do that? Maybe to avoid confusing kids between horizontal and vertical? Bc I remember trying to do origami and being disoriented by the folding instructions using horizontal/vertical/45 degrees/diagonal etc.
>>216206159This reinforces in my mind the idea that Americans don't have a developped frontal lobe. Is it because of a lack of nutrients? or chemicals in the food/water/air? Is it just a problem of education?
>>216206101Is this also a consequence from whatever makes you guy measure time in microwave dings, distance in football fields/hamburgers and temperature in farenh- fharenhie- fahrenh- some nazi name or something?
>>216206101You guys also call noobie braking in skiing "pizza" and going straight "french fries". I laughed so hard when I met American tourists in the Alps and they told me this. They thought I was laughing at them and couldn't take the banter kek.
>>216206450There's nothing inherently vertical or horizontal about a blank sheet of paper. A rectangle can be wider than it is tall.
>>216206450Ok surrender monkey
>>216206669What do you mean? In origami you have a quare sheet of paper, you either fold vertically or horizontally.
>>216206101>>216206159you're shitting me
>>216206101>tf>tpof course it has to be true
