Only regret is that Japan didn't invade the USSR with the start of Operation Barbarossa. The Soviet Union wouldn't have been capable of handling a 2 front war and would have inevitably lost

A couple soviet batallions would totally humiliate japan, they only were able to hold their own against amerilards for so long because they were fighting on islands, they knew it so they didn't fight against USSR because it would steamroll them out of China.
