Africa was originally the name of tunisia before the entire continent was named after it then tunisia adopted their capital's name which is some punic root word
Mauretania was the name of morocco in antiquity and morocco's name in arabic has nothing to do with the latin "morocco" which is from a berber root word meanwhile the colloquial arabic name means "the west", marrakech and morocco are technically the same word
Egypts name in arabic means "citie(s)"/city
