Where I live I like it, there's lots of young people, enough things to do (even if its less than NYC), my neighborhood is decently walkable (I drive about once a week), and I can do outdoor sports throughout the winter which is a nice bonus. NYC/Boston would be nice but both are very expensive. Chicago is cheaper but extremely cold for the majority of the year. Philadelphia is also cheaper but its kind of dirty.
