>>216287594That's a fair point I don't really have an answer to, you are right, north america would have already been established to a certain degree instead of aus colonies and nz having to be built from scratch coupled with the fact they did take convicts so a chunk of the population being/having that. Not all colonies took convicts (nz, south australia and the first couple decades of western australia) but the point about north america already being established is true, don't really have a good answer to that.
