Canada is delightful, I don't know where you are getting your information. Or perhaps it is more true to say, I know exactly from whence your information comes. I am a normal 30-something Canadian, I own a nice little house, 6 acres of healthy land full of birds and deer, trees, mosses, all manner of good things. A loving wife, a son, another on the way, 2 cars, and a sailboat moored in the water 20 metres from my house. And I must re-emphasise that I am not a high-achieving outlier. I go into the city and am surrounded by people who have received adequate educations and whose major healthcare needs are being met. Children from poor families are receiving healthy food and supports to help mitigate the routes to criminality that stem from these defecits. It isn't perfect, or on the level of Norway or someplace like that, but it is a good place that has afforded me a life I am pleased to lead. Can you say the same, American?
