My dad used to read old fantasy books for me when I was a kid. Lord of the rings, The Eye Of The World, Assassin's Apprentice, The Worm Ouroboros, Earthsea, Dragonflight and so on. It's what turned me into a nerd.

Tashi turned me into an orientalist/slavophile
Later on it was probably the Harry Potter series
