Why do black people, Latinos, southern europeans and SEA’s love dragon ball so much?
>>216351504Black men love shounen in general. Don't know precisely why the anime version of this kind of story and not necessarily other regional presentations of the same genre in live action form.
Unironically high TIf you don't like Goku số much you must be living in a society plagued with feminism and sissification

Goku is a POC who transforms into a white man. He is inspirational to thirdies.

>>216351504There was a full upscale original versions of ocean dub for early seasons plus toonami dub for the entire dbz series and even the dragon ball series on internet archive until last month. I kept watching thinking of downloading it soon but it got taken down ;____; I can't seem to find any link for the original versions anywhere just the shitty kai dub or layer versions. The only thing left is the raw toonami broadcast on internet archive.
>>216351504When I was a kid, I enjoyed it for the fictional-fantasy setup. What boy or young man doesn't like action, violence, explosions, intricacies between good and evil, the sci-fi elements that defy our understanding of restrictive fundamental & elementary laws of physics, chemistry, biology, reality etc., and a way to not worry about chores, homework or whatever? I didn't see Japanese mythology or Chinese mythology or Asian mythologies. I didn't cared about who or why created this animation/cartoon/audio-visual theater; I cared that it was entertaining for me, amusing & technical in its own ruleset reality (despite being the figment of imagination from another person).I didn't extrapolated politics, social sciences issues, economics etc. I enjoyed a story. A work of fiction. I didn't watched Dragon Ball Z until very late, in my teens & young adulthood. I never watched GT because I didn't liked the color palette (the world & characters were more orangey or beige for some reason) & because I couldn't get over the imixion they wanted to do, using Dragon Ball charisma & simple appeal, with the complexities/background built further from Dragon Ball Z. I started to watch Super, only after they reached their final arc, so that I could have time.
