Frenchpipo be like
>oooo lala you can NOT 'ave ze 'ijab on in class 'adija non non non madame !!!!!
But then 3/4 of Frenchmen have religious names like Pierre, Antonie, Denis

I won't pretend laïcité makes sense. But you're sort of mistaken regarding the Christian names theory. It's really not the majority anymore in younger generations : usually late gen x / early milenial parents chose names along the lines of Nhollan, Emy or Loann; plus most nafris at school wear names like Abubakar, Mohamed and such. Kinda sus religion wise to my 'catholic' ears.

Your president is literally named after Jesus, Immanuel means "God with us" in Hebrew. Every serious laïcist should demand that he change his name to something secular.

I used to be on the fence regarding the hijab in schools because on one side it was clear the muslim tradition wasn't yet properly integrated in French society (the famous goal of an "Islam of France") and on the other side the first step would have been for the muslimettes to be able to express their own culture just like fucking Timothée is able to hang around the school with his baptism bracelet and cross necklace and stuff (even though it's considered distasteful). So up until recently I thought it should be okay to allow head covering for muslim girls, not the hijab (religious attire proper) but a scarf or something (like our nannas used to wear, right?).
But I realised really the hijab, since it's cultural and not even religious, is just anti-feminist culture and I don't want that. I would agree if it was just a cultural form of modesty but to me it's just really, actually I can explain how it is, a form of repression.
I don't want the hijab in public establishments just like I don't want Twitter chuds going about doing Hitler salutes even if they're "Roman salutes" or the fuck I've heard...

That's culture vs. religion like I just explained. "Emmanuel" is not hebrew (Immanu'el) and not even Greek (Emmanouel).
France has the talent to make religious things secular, always had. We're struggling with Islam because it's really that shit a religion, no offence.

Your name is your strongest sign of identity. If you name yourself after a byname of Jesus I will judge you as a devout Christian.

You can act stupid if you want, that's not my problem

Trying to justify every single decision and action is what is killing France. We should not need any arguments to get rid of Islam in France. Islam is garbage, every country that is not historically Islamic yet harbor a Muslim minority has conflicts with said minority, from minor issues to outright Islamic separatist movements. We don't need it, we don't want it, we should get rid of it. It shouldn't be more complicated than that.
