Why is Europe so mean to the UK?
>>
>>216379042
How are Greenlanders not invited? Aren't they literally in the EU via Denmark?
>>
>>216379136
Greenlanders have Danish passports, so Greenland should be blue on the map. Although Greenland as a territory is not in the EU.
>>
>>216379042

Greenlanders can choose between the regular Danish passport and a special version for Greenland

A free travel clause wasn't negotiated during the exit. Why would it be. It was a vote on immigration at its core. Tories maxxing out commonwealth immigration after the fact non withstanding
>>
>>216383846
>It was a vote on immigration at its core
A lot of continentards say this. But the truth is, it was about taking back control and that makes continentards seethe.

Would getting in the Eurozone and in Schengen even be bad for Britain? What would be the actual downside aside from wounded pride?

wouldn't go down well in the current immigration focused political climate.

I just hate that my country is always letting idiots ruin it.

Concession accepted.

We are EU candidates why are we still being treated like thirdies on our own continent. Even Brazilians don't have to go through passport control, aint no way we're shittier than Brazil

I don't mean to be latinxphobic but what are Brazil and Chile doing there?
>>
>>216383979
Schengen is about freedom of movement for europeans, it has barely anything to do with immigration, the main effects on british life would be getting back into EU queues at airports and getting rid of security checks on the Eurostar. You have already been flooded with niggers without Schengen being in effect more than every other European country.

Austria was the one vetoing Romania for a decade. These things are usually local.

>Schengen is about freedom of movement for europeans,
I know but this country doesn't think rationally like that. The campaign material for vote leave made it look like Syria and Iraq were going to join the EU and then would be able to come here via free movement. There is no sane argument with brexhistters. The irony is that leaving the EU let the Tories flood the country with more browns than ever.

Yeah, not going to happen until Kosovo is finally resolved somehow. The pro-Russia stance isn't doing you any favours either.
>>
>>216383474
>reentry will be made super hard and expensive
No, they just won't get the special privileges they used to have and will be an normal EU country like the others
>>
>>216384157
>>216384091
Why would that matter? I'm talking about passport control. We already have visa-free travel to Schengen so it's not like keeping us out of automatic passport control is stopping some criminal or whatever from reaching your cuntree, it's just making things more tedious for people who are already traveling all across Europe. Brazil has 200 million people and high crime how are they more eligible for the program instead of a country of 6 million that is an EU candidate?
>>
>>216384456
You are so fucking evil
>>
If you want to visit UK has european, you have to submit a stupid "not VISA" application where you attest you are not a terrorist, with a photo of your ID and a photo of yourself, and the fee is almost 20 pounds. You'd think showing up at the border with a passport is the point of a passport in the first place, not "take a photo of yourself and your passport and send in a separate application".

The british deserve the nightmare returned.
>>
>>216385241

Why would you want to visit UK when you could just not visit UK instead?

if britain ever rejoins they are joining the schengen and adopting the euro kicking and screaming
>>216384166
balkans except serbia/ukraine will join the eu sooner rather than later so with ukraine
turkey on the other hand will not happen especially with erdogan in charge maybe under chp but at this point erdogan is effectively king

>kicking and screaming
>>>216384166
Brits don't scream, their remaining tooth would fall out
>>
>>216385859
but yeah
a potential uk rejoinage to the eu wont happen just for those 2 factors alone(euro-schengen)
>>
>>216384332
we never had any special privileges anyway. The UK wasn't a founding member, our retarded post war government thought it was better than everyone and didn't join until Germany and France leapfrogged us in the mid to late 20th century. I remember learning this in history class and seething
>>
>>216386184
>we never had any special privileges anyway
we did. We had a permanent opt out from the Euro which the others didn't have (maybe Denmark) but new countries have to join up to the Euro at some point though Sweden just keeps ignoring it. We had a schengen opt out too
>>
>>216386317

The negative impacts of Brexit were greatly exaggerated. I voted remain in the 2016 referendum, but now I don't mind us having left the EU(the lack of free movement is a negative though). The UK has a free trade agreement with the EU now anyway, and I much prefer not being ruled by Jewish globohomo cunts like Von Der Leyen. If there was a referendum to rejoin the EU today, as the EU is, I would vote no.
>>
>>216387163
>Jewish globohomo
you traded EU immigration for pajeets
>>
>>216387441
that's unfortunate, I actually like EU immigrants to Britain, my neighbours are a Romanian couple, and there are a lot of European immigrants where I live in Leeds. I'm never voting labour or tories again.

They voted on this and they wanted this. The EU tried for 5 years to negotiate with them, the UK didn't want to and opted for hardest possible cut. Well, that's what they got.

I doubt most of you are involved with human trafficking and other scams like the other new brits are.
