I call it mantis but I've heard some people refer to it as mamboretá and tatadios.

Old people call it "Campamocha", which comes from an old Aztec word play kids used to do when finding one. When kids used to find a Praying Mantis they'd tell it "Campa Mochan?" Which means "Where is your home?", and the Mantis would supposedly then have to fly off to find its home.
