Did you notice that some races have different voices? I know that whites have more ringing voices while blacks have lower and more tenacious voices. It has nothing to do with the accent, but just the voice itself differse
if they have the same accent then I don't notice a massive difference when they're speaking but it's really obvious in musicI can immediately tell when a singer is black
