Germany managed to invade Belgium insanely quick though so that didn't work out either - and then the well known Ardennes fumble happened, though that was an insanely risky move that could have just easily costed the Germans the war. In short, yeah I'm fucking tired of everyone parroting that shit, especially the 'teehee why didn't they think of the germans just going around le maginot!'
