For example, I like playing Squash and I've always wanted to play tabletop RPG games, but I never had anyone to go with because I moved around a lot growing up so my friends are all over the place. Where I live now I did not grow up. I literally just googled squash club in my city as well as games club in my city. Found two things, checked them out, went and then over time you build up the connection with people and I've made friends there now. It is a lot easier than you think, the biggest issue is motivating yourself and be willing to put yourself out there. It's only awkward at first and then you realise it's so much better than wasting your time on this shitty website. I wish I just did it sooner.
