kentucky is not really the deep south, appalachia is slightly differentI also don't really consider maryland or delaware the northeast
>>216592893I absolutely guarantee you these cultural regions and irrelevant. Charlotte, North Carolina is more culturally similar to Denver, Colorado than it is Kings Mountain, North Carolina (rural town just outside Charlotte).

>>216592893West Virginia is pure Appalachia which is a subregion of Dixie. New England is a different thing from the Midatlantic. Central/northern Rockies are Mormonland but the southern parts and SoCal are Chicano space.

>>216595046I can imagine Maine is rather different from CT yeah, I didn't want to get too granular (the map app also has its limitations), but one difference I wanted to reflect was the Great Lakes region which is certainly different from Missouri for example.
