I think they are a pretty good band but they are quite annoying with how they are constantly teasing about breaking up and then getting back together again.
>no no guys this will totally be our last concert you have to come and see us

This is my favourite song from them.

I grew up in Kent. It has some lovely places, but my hometown is a grim little provincial shithole filled with dolescum like most of the country.

Pic related; the village of Wye, probably the most beautiful English village I've been to

Kent is a great bloke

Used to live in Healthfield and would visit Tunbridge Wells regularly and went to school in Tonbridge.

Kent and Sussex should ally against the Londoners and other home counties which bring our region down.

Bit weird seeing threads so close to home. Born here, lived here my entire life and have no intention to move. I live in one of the worst parts but it's convenient enough and it's my home. Never travelled much towards Tunbridge Wells way but it's meant to be the nicest part I believe. Love Canterbury and Whitstable, a lot of my happiest memories are from spending the day at Tankerton slopes and walking to Herne Bay to get dinner and ice cream. It says a lot that Kent is one of the richer counties but there are still so many shitholes.

I was born in Gravesend

Kent was always a place of wild, untamed folk speaking a strange dialect, and even William the Conqueror's men generally avoided it. Now it's suffering from its proximity to France and London and becoming an overpopulated hellhole.
>>
Why are Tunbridge and Tonbridge spelled differently
>>
>>216600648
Literally my ancestors. People from this area must be morally degenerate as I have a vore fetish
>>
Is it known if being in such close proximity to France and continental Europe had any impact on the genetic makeup of the people?

I have the misfortune of being born and lived most of my life in Chatham but have since moved to another place in Medway. Medway is a shithole, an utter pit of depravity filled with obese retards on benefits, non whites everywhere and some of the most grim architecture, but its my home and I want to see it get better (unlikely). It’s in a convenient location being sandwiched between London and the rest of Kent and the few nice parts like Rochester are enough to convince me to stay, but then again you only have to cross a bridge and you go from lovely old Rochester to Strood. Despite its flaws there is a cosiness to it in most parts aside from the absolute worst bits. Driving through in Autumn is quite lovely provided you stay away from most parts of Strood, Gillingham and Chatham.

I've been to Chatham several times and yeah it's a shithole
The Medway swimming centre is nice though I have good memories of going there as a kid

I went on holiday to Switzerland one summer a decade ago visiting small towns and the countryside, and on the way back home in Kent we stopped in Chatham, and I remember sitting there so fucking depressed. Switzerland felt like it was on another planet. Breathtakingly beautiful, orderly, totally White, whilst I looked at the high street on Chatham and it was just grey and miserable and full of immigrants and fat single mothers pushing strollers.

>Despite its flaws there is a cosiness to it
True for most of Britain, it's very cosy and beautiful, especially in the parts which have a lot of pensioners and feel more traditional, not yet turned into some neoliberal brown consumerist hellscape with vape shops and takeaways on every corner.
When the older generations pass away I think they'll take the last remnants of the White Christian cosy England with them.
