I have English (+ mayflower descendent and rev war descendent), Scottish, Irish, German, Norwegian, Austrian, Swiss, Latvian, Swedish, and Danish ancestry according to my genealogies which on some lines I've traced as far back as the 1100s... what on earth would I call myself? On other lines I can get back to the 14000s. On one line I hit a dead end but I suspect i have some french but I can't prove it yet.I've been doing my geneology and learning so much. Not just people's names but primary sources from their lives it's pretty crazy. Tracking down where some far flung ancestors got married in 1567, etc.I imagine it's way more fun for mutts like me because there's so many countries and lines. It would be boring if it was like "Oh yeah I'm just anglo saxon o algo".

>>216605308I'm not but some of my ancestors were mormons and I have heavily benefited through autistic mormon research of Anglo, Norwegian, Swedish, and Swiss ancestry and migration to the Americas. It's insane I'll click on one of my ancestors from 1500 and some mormons will have posted on their page a history of their life and their entire pedigree lol. If you're Norwegian you might be able to benefit from Mormon autism if you feel like it.
