Are there any Asian countries like Singapore or whatever that can compete in luxury with Switzerland?
>>
>>216607341
Switzerland isn't luxurious at all. Expensive, sure. But all the luxury is limited to like a few ski resorts and district in Zürich and Geneva.
>>216607264
No.

wait if it's not luxurious why is it expensive

Luxury is a Jewish category. Beauty is a different thing altogether

I lived in Vaud for 3 years. Nothing luxurious about that country. If you want luxury, you'd have to go to Gstaad, which is 99% tourist anyways. Or some shopping promenade in Geneva only visited by Arabs and the Chinese.

Is it possible to live like a king under like $2000 a month

Luxury doesn’t come at a low price. That doesn’t mean non-luxurious things can’t be expensive.

Yeah, buy some rotting pile of rocks for 100k and then get cucked by the government because you're obliged to maintain it to "keep the national landmarks". How is a castle luxurious? It's literally just a medieval military installment. Might as well call a US base luxurious.
>>
>>216607513
luxury and cheap arent mutual. but ive seen people live in nice apartments for 1k usd in east asian cunts like cambodia. so if you wanna live over there that would be my bet

>nothing luxurious about that cunt
>proceeds to lists luxurious places in that cunt
Switzerland is a country swimming in foregin capital dumbo, just because you didnt live in a luxurious place there doesnt mean that they doesnt exist. it is absolutely the most luxurious real country. but if Dubai or Abu Dhabi are legit countries in your eyes go ahead and say them. i guess the US has extremely wealthy spots like hamptons but its a 350 mil pop country so i wouldnt classify it as luxurious.
>>
>>216607736
Nigger, I've been to tons of cantons. Your average Swiss neighborhood looks like picrel. Not any different from any other euro cunt.

Just because they have tiny pockets where Schwab&Co eat caviar every day doesn't mean that's the average Swiss experience. By that metric the US is a luxurious country because Aspen and Palo Alto exist.

Meanwhile your average Swiss borderhops to shop at French and German supermarkets just because it's 2x cheaper. Their border police make catching those vile criminals who dare to purchase more than 1kg of meat a day a sport.

It's not just that, the average person is also incredibly old.
The average age of society should be like 25. But it's actually 55 or something. Old people are ugly

Old people also enforce ugly building standards because they hate beautiful things.
Old people are the problem

>Nowhere in the USA is there luxury for the masses

Luxury isn’t FOR the masses. Luxuries are scarce by definition.

Anyway, I agree with above posters that the single closest place to a 100% luxury country is probably Monaco, but it’s barely even a city. I also agree with the German poster above that Switzerland isn’t really a “luxury” country, although it is more expensive than its neighbors and it is exponentially more functional and orderly than the global average. Swiss tastes are usually not very flashy or opulent, even among the rich. The most over-the-top ski resorts (the most luxurious venues in the country, followed distantly by old spa resorts) are all for high net worth tourists, or resident Russian oligarchs, or dictators’ children, not locals. For the Swiss (and expat and immigrant) masses, it is less a nation of luxury than it is a nation of comfortable upper-middle-class fussbudgets.

But as I was typing this, I realized that I don’t even know what you mean when you say “luxury.”

I had a drink at "the opera bar" here in stockholm and I sitll think about it. It was an all-wood art noveau interior with stained glass ceilings and chesterfield couches. It looked so goddamn good, it was a pleasure for the soul.

Noice. Me and my friend was stumbling through the rain and he suggested we go in in "the back pocket" which is a restaurant attached to the opera bar/opera basement with a more causal feel, operating basically directly attached to the kitchen. He started wandering around and said that he was going to check in on the bar, and came back and said that we really should go in. I was kind of annoyed with moving around so much and we couldn't bring our current beers, but eventually I relented and when I entered I was just gobsmacked by beauty. It wasn't expensive or anything either and the staff were nice, and we were served in individually numbered pewter tankards which look suspiciously close to ones I've seen in a photo from the 1910's. Made me wish I could have been there 100 years ago and drank myself stupid with writers and artists.

>>216607411

Because they have high wages (also theyre squeezed for everything theyve got by the EU). Proportionally it's not as expensive. But yeah most of Switzerland is not luxurious

It is luxurious in the big cities like Zurich. Or the resorts like you mentioned. But most of Switzerland is edging on brutalist feels save for the scenery

The US is pretty luxurious too. Think of Aspen and Vegas and the elite places in NYC. They're much more luxurious per capita than Europe. Not necessarily classy, but certainly luxurious.

Maldives, St. Barths, Mustique are probably the most luxurious places out there now that I think about it.

> Is it possible to live like a king under like $2000 a month
In Italy the average net salary is about 1700 euro a month, so with 2k you can live without problems (outside major cities) but certainly not "like a king".
But you can't live anywhere "like a king" with that income; in the 3rd world living *with a western standard* is even *more* expensive than in is in the West.
>>
>>216607445
no it's not. it's just the most expensive country for tourism. you can't live anywhere in the US making the median wage there

>Can you guys please answer what is the most luxurious place at a low or reasonable cost
Please define "luxurious" first.
What do you mean *exactly*?
As other posters have pointed out Switzerland is not luxurious at all, it's just overpriced.
Do you mean places that have an old money aesthetic?
Do you mean places that have luxury goods shops?
You mean places where interior design like picrel is common?
Explain yourself in order to clarify the question.
