>>216607861I'm obsessed with the Austrian half, specifically (Austria Proper, South Tyrol, Bohemia, Moravia, Carniola, etc.). I also think a lot about Greater Netherlands (Netherlands + Flanders). The only large Germanic country in continental Europe that I don't care much for is Germany, mostly because I don't think its major cities are appealing at all.

Today, the countries that comprised it are still incredible, but too small to be a cultural superpower. If it still existed, it would easily rival the Mediterranean giants (Italy, Spain, France).
