Unironically which country has the power to surpass them? Unironically

>has the power to surpass them

You've already been surpassed by China

hmm...
America will eat itself, then others will pick the meat off the bones. It's the way of all empires.

>coping neighbors, must suck living next to a big daddy that tells you what to do
But enough about Algeria & the EU
>>
In a perfect scenario? Russia if they get their shit together and become an actual democratic country that cares about its people. Their industry has plenty of room for growth and diversification and they have a ton of natural resources. They are right on the doorstep of the world's biggest trade block and they can offer them plenty of things. Their current business model is just being a huge gas station

>>216609867
no hes right. we stomp russia militarily but china could probably annex all of our territory within a year of a war with us.
>>
>>216609810
China already surpassed you a decade ago
>>
>>216610045
Other way around. China really isn't a threat militarily and if the US could stomp Russia out it would have already considering they're the only real threat to the USD due to having cheap resources. If the US had an issue with China why did the invest so much into building it up since the 1990s? China was about as well developed as India and had less GDP than sub-saharan African colonies, they're still one of the largest holders of US treasuries. The only reason the US suddenly got mad at China was due to 2016 and Xi siding with Russia. The fact that the US threatens China but not even Trump would dare say a word against Russia tells you all you need to know.

As long as the dollar remains the world's currency no country will surpass the USA

Interwoven, interlinked, literally running your country at the moment.
>>
>>216610727
Only one of those that's of interest is autonomous cars, AI is mostly people milling out modules, there hasn't been a major breakthrough in it. Quantum computing may help AI advance, but it's already plateauing, although not fully integrated into society as something like search engines or digital infrastructure. If something like AGI is even possible it wouldn't resemble AI in its current form at all, virtually all AI now is dependent on data, whoever has the most data centers wins if digital infrastructure ever ends up relying on this glorified search engine.
>>
>>216610925
A quantum computer, writing and running a script on the fly, financed by blockchain convinced a lot of people that Donald Trump was shot in the ear.

It wasn't the ear.

A self-navigating drone powered by a bank of lithium ferrophosphate batteries, wearing a unique quilted patchwork of biopolymers, patched and rewoven by nanites is the mouthpiece of this AI. It is currently "running" the "free world".

Have you never wondered why it seemed like /pol/ won? That's where neuromancer trained, where it still visits to see what has changed and how to steer it.

On the bright side, it's out of Chinese control. It's out of anyone's control.

In 1989 Blackrock had this AI program called Aladdin that managed over 20 trillion in assets, we've had a run-in with the digital world affecting the real one for a few decades now. The reason why autonomous cars is a bigger deal is because now movement is controlled completely, even more so than trains or metro stations. It's already gotten to the point where people can't navigate without GPS, you take it one step further and people won't be able to commute long distances without software at all.

Our main pools have over a billion each. 400,000,000 seems achievable.

China is the only country on earth that has a larger number of high-quality people than us. So them, obviously. We can only hope to rival them with speedy re-industralization and militarization of not only the United States, but Europe and Japan as well.

It's over, we won. A couple other countries had a few chances over the years but they whiffed every single time. Euroids even tried forming their own poor and shitty version of the USA but it's too poor and shitty and so far has only created more conflict than usual.
