My parents literally told me nothing about sex. My mom just told me once that sex feels good, but it feels even better when it's with someone you love. That was all I got from my parents. Sex education in public school which was pretty piss poor with educational videos that were decades old and we laughed at how corny and dated they were. In 5th grade they just gave you a day in which through a film it was explained we were going to start going through puberty. Boys and Girls were separated. We were shown different films, but it was too long ago for me to remember what the girls said theirs was like. I think it was mostly the same. Again in sixth grade in which it was basically the same thing as far as I can recall only this time boys and girls weren't separated. In 7th grade they actually explained the sexual act in a mechanical way and showed a woman giving birth. We were told the best thing to do was abstinence, and barring that to always use condoms. They didn't explain how to put them on. And that was the end of sex ed for my public school experience.
Not that any of it mattered, I'm still a KHHV and turn 29 in December. And I expect it to remain this way, I'm autistic and don't look great from not taking care of myself.
Honestly the problem with American society is that it's incredibly perverse and filled to the brim with pornography yet people will larp and do performative puritanism. Sex has been commercialized and reduced to a commodity instead of way to bond with another human being and form families.
Most people get their idea of what sex is supposed to be like from pornography. Which is absolutely insane and undoubtedly helping fuel the perversion and destruction of gender relations.

Abstinence is what I practiced as part of my Christian upbringing. Sex was very available, but I never allowed myself to be in a relationship until I was ready for marriage. Opposite to me, white women did not practice abstinence at all, anywhere. So, I went and traveled to East Asia and found a virgin bride. She was a new Christian, former Buddhist, yet still she retained her hymen and had saved her chastity for me.
