Today I learned that Germans Germanized religious texts in the 18th century, which caused translations of Latin to be wrong. Something the Latins did with the Greek Bible, which led to the creation of false religions like Catholicism.

It's sad how ancient Greeks tried to create a perfect world, but inferior cultures keep ruining our achievements since our downfall.

My church has an original print Gutenberg bible

OP is 166cm, ~90kg, 30+ yo and never had a job btw

What's so great about jobs? Germans are nepotists and expect me to work hard for minimum wages.

orthodoxy is basically islam tho, the more I learn about this religion the more stark similarities I see
which also explains why are all orthodox countries so unsuccessful
>>
I am greek

What differences in faith make Poland more successful than Greece?

Religion only has an affect on a country when it's a batshit theocracy like Iran. Otherwise I don't think it really affects develop much rather the inhabitants determine how well a country does. Atheist countries are better off simply because atheists don't suffer enough to afford not to believe

>I didn't manage to do a Ausbildung or Studium in my 30+ years of life, this is Germany's fault even though it's free/even paid
you're the most self rightous embarrassing loser I encountered on here unironically
to have the audacity to put yourself above anyone is astonishing, you have zero self awareness

catholicism encourages independent thinking and skeptical attitude to whatever secular rulers say
meanwhile orthodoxy requires from its adherents total obedience to the secular government (since orthodox churches are always connected to the government)

also catholicism is more focused on the material world which means it appreciates hard work more

Most modern jobs are stressful and a reflection of a rotten society. I'm only suited to work as a political Christian leader, but my health issues prevent me from achieving my goals.

You should support me instead of insulting me.

nah, religion does have a profound influence on societies as long as it shapes country's/nation's culture and national values
it's still a thing in Europe, probably less in the US as the US culture only already forming in the enlightenment era

you're mentally ill, you know that right?
>>

Wow. Pretty rare and probably worth a bunch. I heard that the Gutenberg Bible was printed with loose sheets of vocabulary added because it was printed at a time when there was no unified German language and German dialects would vary wildly (to the point where they weren't mutually intelligible).
>>
Doesn’t matter. Modern Biblical analysis is a Lutheran-German creation

It's at a Lutheran church. Idk how they got it they keep it in glass.

1 Peter 2:13-14

We have to follow rules, unless they break God's laws, like when muslim Turks sold Greek children into slavery.

They were proppa languages

I don't care about the bible, I only care about what positive or negative effects the religion causes.

Debatable, but in the case of lowlands German and highlands German you're probably right.

It depends a lot on the culture and environmental factors. Christians should eat healthily, but millions of Americans are obese.

no, you made an insulting thread under the thin guise of historical interest.
