Why are they like this?

The thing is they unironically believe their military training counts as actual military experience on par with someone who has been in active combat.

They say this!

How much does it differ in comparison for example with yours?

Finland has compulsory military training for men ages 18 to 29. If you are man born in Finland, at some point in that 11 year range you have to do your 1 year training camp. Completing the training camp doesn't enroll you in the military, it's just so the government can say you've been trained. Because literally every male has to do this, the standards for the training are extremely low, yet men who come out the other end acting as if they're been through war.

The US military training isn't compulsory, it's by choice. The training is for the soul purpose of taking enlistees and shaping them into capable military personnel. As a result, US military training is much longer and more strenuous, as afterwards you're going to be doing legitimate military service rather than going back to your job at Nokia or whatever.

They're actually doing decently well right now by cashing in on the AI bubble (kinda like what Blackberry is doing). When it bursts they're probably fucked but for now they're able to keep their head above water.

Nokia sold its phone division and focused on telecommunications infrastructure for companies, then it recovered and the phone division it sold off is also doing alright.

In Russia the military service is obligatory too but all normal people dodge it, so the army is mostly supplied by local countryside fellows and other poor or stupid trash. I'm talking about conscripts here.
For the SMO they attract people with huge money that they would've never earned in their shitholes, so they happily join.
>>
>>216623720
I'm aware of the other stuff you're describing, but what's the SMO?

>>216623763
Russians can't say "war" because otherwise a local russian cia agent moves to their location and arrests them

oh, Special Military Operation. Duh. Never seen it abbreviated like that before. I thought it was an abbreviation for some branch of the Russian military.
