>>216624067I do know Latin to an intermediate level so I should be capable of getting the hang of speaking the language. They didn't really do girlfriends in that time though, you usually just paid a dowry and the father decided, but usually they chose somebody who the girl also liked because they do want their kids to be happy. I guess it would be possible if I worked a job as a reader or some basic literate position and got the money to do so. My handwriting is certainly better than the scrawl but nowhere near good enough to be considered first or second rate handwriting. Anyway after I get the girl I'm moving to the Aegean, or Constantinople/Thessaloniki and would have to learn Greek.
