You guys always post this image to mock America, but be fair: it's not their fault McDonald's has so many locations here. Well, except for the guy on the far right. He probably has something to do with their success. Anyways, people always talk about America having "no tradition" or whatever, but our religious commitment, as heretical as its expression sometimes is, is very traditional. America (at least to some extent) keeps the ancient Christian faith, Europe doesn't. And before you try to say paganism is more ancient than Christianity, do remember that we all descend from Adam. Adam was promised the Messiah in the Garden of Eden. He was the first Christian and preacher. He taught the Christian faith to his descendants, and the true faith was preserved in Noah's family. Europeans descend from Noah's firstborn son, Japheth, who kept the faith of his fathers and was a good Christian. The true faith didn't immediately disappear, either. Job was king of Edom in the time of Moses, and very obviously a great Christian man. Paganism is the result of demonic subversion of the ancient Christian tradition. Americans, even when practicing totally heretical dispensationalist Christianity, are more traditional than pagan or atheist Europeans. So, basically, I guess the point of the thread is to ask, why do Europeans have such a lack of meaningful culture? And no, romanticized old peasant foods do not count as culture. Don't tell me about how you eat fermented shark meat in your quaint little tourist-trap village. That doesn't mean a THING!
VGH. The beating heart of Christendvm…

>>216627683Kinda smart... McDonald's should serve as the modern city gate or town square. Rent out space to preachers, politicians, hold town meetings
