In Germany, electric cars have an E at the end of the usual letter/digit combination on the numberplate. Are electric cars marked in any way in your country (numberplate, special sticker or whatever)?

All EVs in Illinois used to require pic rel, but I think now they let you use regular plates because the state didn’t want to spend the money making EV plates

For Illinois I heard it was because the fee system works differently because you don’t pay for a gas tax when you have an EV, and so first responders can ID that you have an EV because their power systems work differently than gas cars or something like that.
