I've lived in my flat for a year of 10 units.I still don't know what a lot of people look like.And don't know a single name.Recently I found out that my neighbour is Brazilian or some other latam because her daughter(I think) was speaking at a typical Brazilian volume.

i talked with my syrian neighbor and made good companyonce had to hide behind a bookshelf because her friends were coming to return a huge ass box of chocolates due to 1 rum candy and my presence would have been questionable even though she was like 20 years older than me

this is only in cities. i grew up in a rural place where everyone knows everyone and the same families have lived for a couple hundred years probably. so much gossip its unreal. i can hear stories about whos grandfather beat up someone elses grandfather 80 years ago. now i live in a city and no one knows me feels good man
