Do you have a Funko Pop collection?

Do you own one?

No but clickbait shit like this makes me want to buy one. Is this an ad in disguise? The 2025 meta is pretty good.
>>
What is the point of collecting plastic figures that don’t do anything?

I understand people who splurge on cars, house renovations, clothes, sure they might be overpriced but they have utility in some sense, but what the fuck is the point of people collecting these?
>>
How does a company that sells overpriced plastic shit get into so much debt
>>
>>216644849
This exactly.

I've seen the figures in shops that cater to gamers and fantasy/science fiction nerds. They were a novelty about 10 years ago, but the novelty has worn off. Plus Disney has destroyed all IPs those figures were based on and made them unattractive. ("Put a (black) chick in it an make her gay!")

Play with them.
>Don't do anything
They do whatever your imagination wants them to do. That's the whole point of kids toys.
If you actually meant the retards who keep them in the box and never open them, yeah, that's stupid
>>
>>216644370
Always hated them. Even if you wanted a figurine of something there are so many good options. Pop is just ugly and souless
>>
>>216644370
nice, once they stop producing more funkos mine will boost in value due to scarcity
i knew they were a good investment
>>
Nendoroids are better
>>
>>216644370
wouldnt their value increase, if the company stopped producing them?

probably trying to shortsell, funko beat earnings per share by $0.15 in their third quarter earnings report.

Pic unrelated btw.

Why does their logo have a style similar to onlyfans?
>>
>>216644849
I buy anime figures because they’re pretty and look nice on my shelves with all my other nerd stuff like CDs. It’s nice owning an intricate statue of a character you like but Funko figures are so devoid of any personality or beauty I’ve never seen the appeal.
>>
>>216645297
They will only value their increase, if future generations will want to buy them.
>>
>>216645297
They throw millions of these things in the dump every year. If your local EB Games/Gamestop/Whatever can't sell them now what makes you think people will want them more in the future? They're ugly as shit.
