The internet is a postapocalyptic wasteland mix of Mad Max and Terminator, huge wastelands filled with AI trash with browns and AI bots doubling for the raiders and mutants, with isolated islands of humans far inbetween. And these islands have to be fortified and constantly on watch against being subverted by nonhuman infiltrators
